Weigh In - 155lbs
I had a pretty rough night last night. I was not happy with myself and was feeling ugly and fat, to simply put it. Since we are going away in under 2 weeks I started looking at my clothes and began the process of thinking about what I was going to pack and putting together outfits for the trip. This lead into me trying on my summer clothes (yes, even my bathing suits!) that I have not touched since last summer and finding that they still fit or were a little snug. This really pissed me off because I have been working out all winter and watching what I eat! I know I shouldn't really be complaining because most people go to try on their summer clothes and find that they are too tight from the winter. I just wanted my hard work to be paying off and I know that I'm the same weight I was last summer so in reality my clothes should be fitting the exact same. I guess this was just a wakeup call for me that I have to work even harder and knock off a few more pounds!

Running Princess???
So I was talked into singing up for a 10km race in September
with a co-worker of mine. I would just like to say that I am not a runner and
have never participated in a race before. The funny thing is that I stumbled
across the Disney World Princess Half Marathon and wanted to do it as soon as I
saw what it was all about. So I decided I should start somewhere and signed up
for the 10km race. Then when it set in how far 10km actually was for a first
race I decided I should also sign up for a 5km race before I take on the 10km
race. I found a 5km race that is
happening in July and signed up for it! I’m crazy…..
I’ve started by training inside on the treadmill as I live
in Canada. It’s almost April and we are still having frequent snow storms. There
is no way that I can run outside without possibly killing myself, so inside it
is! I have started off running for 30secs and walking for 130secs, this was at
the end of February. I’m now up to running for 2mins and walking 1min. I know
this might not seem that great for the avid runner but I’m proud of it as I am
coming from no running experience and am not a big fan of running.
You might be asking yourself why I am running if I don’t
like it. Well I wanted to get into something and it just seems like everyone
that runs is really happy and really fit! There are marathons and half
marathons all over the world! I feel it’s
something to work towards and a reason to go on a holiday every once and awhile
and have a purpose to go on that holiday! Like the Disney World Princess half
marathon that I’m hoping to participate in next year.

Breakfast – 2 slices of rye bread toasted with 1tsb of peanut butter
Snack – Strawberries
Lunch – Red Robin’s salad with chicken breast no dressing.
Snack – Frozen Yogurt
Dinner – Popcorn (it was a bad day)
Snack – Carrots

Lunch – Foot long veggie sub – no cheese and on whole wheat bread with mustard.

Dinner – Watermelon slices and a fruit salad

Mood Update: I’m not feeling so great today. Yeah it’s been only a week but I have been working my ass off and staying away from every crab I see! I just wanted to lose 1lb. I got on the scale this morning and nothing. I’m still the same weight as I was last week….. Ugh.

Breakfast – half a cup of raisins
Snack – 1 plum and 1 orange, 710ml water
Lunch – 2 cups of boiled veggies and a fruit salad.
Snack – 1 plum
Dinner – Stiryfry veggies and rice

Breakfast – half a cup of raisins, 1 plum
Snack – 1 plum, 710ml of water
Lunch – Lipton cup of soup – Chicken Noodle, 1 Orange
Snack – cup of strawberries, 710ml of water
Dinner – Grilled garlic and shrimp with spinich and a side of boiled mixed veggies.
Snack – half a cup of rasisins
